1 fennel bulb (fronds chopped, for garnish and bulb washed and sliced)
4 tomatoes (large, heirloom if in season and in budget)
1 teaspoon black peppercorns (whole)
1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
2 inches fresh horseradish (piece of, peeled and grated, or 1 to 2 teaspoons no-salt-added prepared horseradish)
1 lime
1/2 lime
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
ground black pepper (Optional: more freshly, as needed)
