Steak Fajita Pizza
2017-12-08- 2 teaspoons chilli powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 300 g sirloin steak, trimmed
- 1 pizza base
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1 green capsicum, cut into strips
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 230°C. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine chilli powder and garlic powder; sprinkle over both sides of steak. Add steak to skillet; cook 5 minutes per side.
- Remove steak from skillet; let stand 6 to 8 minutes then slice diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
- Place pizza crust on a pizza pan and spoon salsa over it. Sprinkle mozzarella over the salsa. Arrange pepper strips, onion rings, and steak slices over the mozzarella and then sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
- Place in the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbling and the crust edges browned, about 12-15 minutes.
